Lampocracy - COER Values

A lamp with no shade burns bright and can light a whole room. But with a shade its light is harnessed more efficiently, focusing its energy on a more fixed point effectively.

So for the last week myself and many people around me have had difficulty dealing with the overwhelming sense of emotion (and emotional loss of friends, family for some, homeland for most) because of the situation in Iran. Iranian people are generally very nationalistic (as you will hear CNN or Reza Aslan tell you). But there is a whole disenfranchied group of Iranians Americans (or Iranian Canadians, Iranian Germans, etc) who are quite thrilled with goings on of the last week. Does this mean that these people, these expats will have a place to call home? Only time will tell. To be honest, most of us are home in the countries we live in. I know red, white and blue more than Green, White and Red. But that doesn't mean that I don't want my daughter to know where her grandparents came from. I just hope that we have that chance.

With all this buzz I've been Tweeting, Blogging and resourcing more and more daily. I have started to try to take better care of my blog. Trying new themes, layouts, etc. Its also brought me back to research and digging which is COER to finding people the right opportunity.

So I will write. Because I can.
